Three Deeee Animatings!
We got to choose what we wanted to do for our final assignment right before Grad Show--traditional, flash or digital--and since I'm planning on entering the digital animation program next year I went with the 3D assignment. We got a basic rundown of 3D Studio Max, got to play around with a basic bi-ped rig, mess around with its proportions, and then had to do a walk cycle with some character. We also got to add some simple but effective lighting to it. It was pretty fun and turned out well:

Three scene cut
Even with all of the extra time spent on this I'm still not happy with it. Whatever, time to move on.
